Day 97 - Zorbing!!

Chaggie today were going Zorbing!

Zorbing, in the wise words of Wikipeida: Zorbing (globe-riding, sphereing, orbing) is the recreation of rolling downhill in an orb, generally made of transparent plastic. Zorbing is generally performed on a gentle slope but can also be done on a level surface, permitting more rider control. Ironically, Zorbing was invented in, you guessed it, Rotorua! We just had to do it here!

There are two types of Zorbing, the first is where you a strapped inside the Zorb and you are pushed down the hill and roll up side-down and so on, The other is having the Zorb containing some water, with you, not strapped in, inside it, falling all over the place! Chaggie took the option of the water Zorb as it just looked insane! We also brought Raymond with us and he decided to also do the water Zorb but he did it alone.

It was pretty damn awesome to be honest with you! Staggie managed to elbow Chino in the face on the way down.. a total mistake.. honest! (cunning). We will definitely be doing it in England as Chino got it for Staggie's birthday last year!

After Zorbing Chaggie headed back to Jan's for a chilled out afternoon. Staggie's grandparents (the English side this time) were out in NZ for a few weeks and were arriving in Rotorua this evening, so Jan suggested we invited them round for a BBQ. It was a lovely evening and good for Staggie to see his grandparents, Chino is slowly meeting literally Staggie's whole family, not just the Kiwi side.. he should really be privileged and honoured.

Chaggie dropped Staggie's grandparents back at their hotel as they are in Rotorua for a few more days before heading back to England on the 24th.
We came back to Jan's and decided we needed to completely update the blog.. so here we are, finally up to date, WOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!

Chaggie x
