Day 65 - BB Gun Wars (Wed 12th Jan)

Chino woke up at 09:00 this morning in time to catch up with his family and friends on Skype. At 09:45 this morning there was an aftershock in Christchurch, Chino felt the table shake whilst he was on webcam to his Dad. Was pretty amazing, that can be ticked off the to do list (experience an earthquake). Where was Phill? He was asleep, he can add that to the other tonne of earthquakes he's missed.

Josh stayed round as well last night so the four of us chilled out till lunch time where we had scrambled egg and toast. We were in the mood for shooting BB pellets this afternoon. We got our goggles on and picked a weapon before making bases at either side of the house. Teams alternated, once you were shot you still had a dagger left to chuck, was pretty intense. This took up a good couple of hours, we started aiming for eggs at one point, a small target left over from lunch time.

This evening Chaggie and Chris were invited to join Phillipa, Andreas and Graeme to another meal. We got ourselves there at 18:00. Another feast was prepared for today's dinner, typical Kiwi meal; Minced Beef and new potatoes. After a big pudding including Summerfruit Cake we played 'Who Am I'. The game where you have a post-it stuck to your head with a person written on it. The aim of the game is to ask questions to the rest of the players and guess who it is. Chino turned out to be awful at this game, failing to guess any of his names right. Staggie did a little better.

We ended up staying with Pip, Andreas and Graeme till 11:30ish, we went back to Chris's house and soon went to bed after watching England beat Australia in a 20-20 match.

Chaggie x
